We are a Gospel-Centric Church that believes in the following:

The One True God

The one true God is the Creator and Ruler of the whole universe. He is eternally self existent in three persons; the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God.  God is eternal, all-powerful, all-knowing, loving, holy, just, and unchangeable, as defined by The Holy Bible.
Genesis 1:1, Isaiah 45:18, Matthew 28:18-19, Mark 12:29

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is the Son of God.  He is co-equal with the Father.  Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior. He is fully God and fully man. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead miraculously after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended into heaven, and will return again in glory. We believe in His deity, virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, and teachings.  In Him we also have victory over sin, death, and hell.
Isaiah 9:6, Matthew 1:22-23, John 1:1-3, 14, Philippians 2:5-8, John 10:30, John 3:16

Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son of God.  He came forth from the Father and Son to make the world aware of our sin and need for Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and to regenerate, sanctify, and empower Christians.  The Holy Spirit lives in every believer of Jesus Christ and He is an abiding Helper, Teacher, and Guide. He empowers Christians to live victoriously according to God’s Word and will, understand the Bible, and use the spiritual gifts specifically given by God.
Ephesians 1:13-14, John 14:26, Romans 8:11, Romans 8:26, 2 Corinthians 13:14

The Holy Bible

The Holy Bible is the Word of God to all mankind.  It is written by human authors, inspired and orchestrated by the Holy Spirit.  The Holy Bible is without error in its original manuscripts, is completely reliable as the final authority in all matters of doctrine and practice, and is centered on the person and work of Jesus Christ.  The Holy Bible is fully true in all that it teaches.
1 Thessalonians 2:13, 2 Timothy 3:15-17, Hebrews 4:12, Psalm 33:4.

Depravity of Humanity

Although we are created in the image of God, we have fallen away from God as a result of Adam’s rebellion, so that all people have fallen under the curse of sin, death, and punishment.  Because of our sinful nature we are unable to save ourselves from God’s judgment.  Our only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
Genesis 1:26-31, Genesis 3, Romans 5:12-21, Romans 3:22-24

Salvation

By God’s grace, love, and mercy, we are saved through faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to pay the penalty of death in place of condemned humanity.  By putting our faith in Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection for our sins, we too have the victory over sin and death. The Gospel of Jesus Christ blesses us to have a relationship with God, the Holy Spirit in our lives, and guaranteed eternal life with God in Heaven.
John 3:16, Ephesians 1:13-14, 2:8-9, Romans 6:23, 1 Corinthians 15:54-57

Family of God/Body of Christ

All who truly believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, are blessed with the Holy Spirit, and belong to and are a part of the Family of God, Body of Christ, Universal Christian Church.
Romans 12:4-5, 1 Corinthians 12:12-14, Ephesians 4:11-16

Local Christian Church

Believers are called to faithful membership in a visible, local congregation for the purpose of mutual encouragement and spiritual growth.  As the family of God, a healthy local church is marked by God-glorifying worship, Bible centered teaching, intimate fellowship, and genuine expressions of the church’s faith, hope, and love through evangelism, discipleship, financial support, and service.
Acts 2: 42-47, Philippians 2:1-5, Hebrews 10:24-25, Mark 12: 29-31

Christian Ordinances

Jesus Christ committed two ordinances to the Church: 1) baptism, and 2) the Lord’s Supper/Communion.  We believe in baptism by immersion (when physically possible) and communion, both of which are open to all believers in Jesus Christ.  We believe baptism as stated to the disciples by Jesus (baptizing in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit) in partial fulfillment of the great commission.  We believe that the Lord’s Supper/Communion is a sacrament of our redemption by Christ’s death.  To those who rightly, worthily, and with faith receive it, the bread and the cup is a partaking symbolically of the body and blood of Jesus Christ.  Though Jesus Christ is really present, no change is affected in the elements that are never to be considered objects of worship.  The supper is also a symbol of the love and unity that Christians have with one another.
Matthew 28:19-20, Romans 6:1-4, 1 Corinthians 12:13, Mark 14:22-24, John 6:53-58,  Luke  22:18-20
