PASTOR WALTER KO

Walter Ko has been ministering since 1997 with experience in children’s, youth, young adult, and small group ministries.  He was born in New York City and lived there until 5, lived in New Jersey for a couple of years, grew up in Los Angeles County, and has been in San Diego, CA since 1993. 

He received his BA degree in Sociology from the University of California, San Diego, and his Masters of Arts degree in Applied Ministries/Pastoral Care from Bethel Seminary San Diego.  He was also the Executive Director at College Area Pregnancy Services for 3 years, and has been in Gospel Music Radio for over 7 years. Walter has a genuine passion to be used by God to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit. According to God's grace, he is committed to making disciples who love God and love people as commanded in the Bible. 

He enjoys spending time with family and friends, sports, music, and good food. He has been blessed with a wonderful and beautiful family in his wife, Karie, his son Exodus, and daughter Psalm.
